Travel through time without leaving the comfort of your own home with our free, “Story of Wine” Facebook Live wine tastings.
There's no need to book just head to the Newcastle Wine School Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/newcastlewineschool/) to join the fun.
Each week I will taste two wines prompted by a significant date in the history of wine. You can participate in the tasting by enjoying the same wines as supplied by our leading, local, independent wine merchants or pour something from your own cellar, kick back and relax as I take you on a fascinating journey through the story of wine.
At the end of the 30 minute tasting you can exercise your inner sommelier by seeing if you can identify the mystery wine in our “Name that Wine” blind tasting. I will describe the wine as you would in a professional WSET or Sommelier examination and if you can guess the wine correctly you could win a prize.
Tell your friends and let’s meet on Facebook, Thursday 9th April at 6.30 pm.
