Wine Tasting Newcastle - Welcome to Newcastle Wine School

A very warm welcome to Newcastle Wine School.  We run Wine Tastings and Wine Courses in Newcastle for people who enjoy wine and would like to learn more about it. All of our wine tastings are relaxed, fun and informal and run by qualified wine educators. No previous wine tasting experience is necessary.  We are an independent wine education company, not affiliated to any wine merchants or retailers, so that you can relax knowing we won't try and sell you wine.

We believe that wine is for everyone so we don't tell you what you should like but try to help you understand why you like what you like!

We run Corporate Wine Tasting Events across the North East; from Boardroom dinners to social evenings, perfect for networking and team rewards as well as private tastings for special celebrations and parties.

Newcastle Wine School is also the leading provider of WSET Courses in Newcastle for enthusiasts & the wine trade - including WSET Level 1, WSET Level 2 & WSET Level 3.

Alternatively you can book your loved one on to a specific course or tasting event and we can send it to you as a Gift Voucher, detailing the time and place of the tasting, but no mention of the price.   • All our Newcastle Wine Tastings & Newcastle Wine Courses are based at Blackfriars - Friars Street, Newcastle NE1 4XN (5 mins walk from Central Station) and commence at 7.00pm. Our Saturday Courses run from 11am to 4 pm.
  • Masterclasses and special events held across the North East
