Beers from around the World to try - before you die

We will be selecting 6 beers from Roger Protz's best-selling book 300 Beers to try before You Die! - a personal and comprehensive portfolio of international beers compiled by one of the world’s leading beer writers. Roger has distilled decades of beer knowledge into an entertaining and indispensable guide to the ales that no beer lover should miss, from hoppy British real ale to German and Czech Republic lagers, American micro-brewed golden ales to Belgian fruit beers.

We will taste a selection of real beers/ales from around the world including USA, Belgium, Australia, Germany and of course Britain. The beers are produced in the old-fashioned way - ie bottle conditioned, live beers made from quality specialist hops, & malt, not to be confused with the anaemic, tasteless, & pasteurised offerings produced by the large commercial breweries - that pass for beer in a lot of our bars and pubs! If you have never tasted the real thing - you are in for a very pleasant surprise!
