WORLD OF WINE - AUSTRALIA

A lot of people think of Australian wine as reliable, fruit-driven wines with lots of oak. This tasting will set the record straight. The world of Australian wine is far more complex as is its climate. There are hot, warm, cool, dry and wet locations in Australia and they all make totally different wines. There are also a growing number of smaller boutique wineries where the winemakers concentrate on producing limited quantities of hand-made wines of superb quality (in contrast to the mass-produced big brands) – these are the wines we will be tasting. Great Shiraz, Sauvignon, & dry Riesling!
