Fabulous wines of Western Australia
This is the first of 5 evenings dedicated to tasting some of the most prestiguous wines in Australia. Crafted by a dedicated group of families - small but passionate producers of delicious wines. We start the trip with a look at Western Australia - pictured are Jeff & Amy Burch owners of Howard Park - we will taste their exquisite single-vineyard Cabernet (£18.50 from the Wine Society) - 'cedary, concentrated & beautifully structured - decant 2 hours before serving - drink now to 2015' - perfect with aged Northumbrian beef fillet!
We will also taste their Bordeaux blend Madfish Sauvignon/ Semillon - 'pure, racy, tropical fruit & top-flight winemaking'
