5-Week Grand Tour of French Wine Regions

THURS 12 SEP to 10 OCT 2013 - If you missed, or were inspired by the BBC 6-part series - Oz & James's Big Wine Adventure - this is a chance to join us as we taste our way around the major wine regions of France ( Burgundy, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Rhone, Languedoc, Alsace, & Provence). We will commence the trip with a stunning Premier Cru Champagne, progressing southwards through Burgundy (delicious Pinot Noir and Chardonnay), and the Loire (lively aromatic Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc) towards the soft warm climate of the Southern Rhone for some ripe Syrah/Grenache. We will also explore the classic regions of Bordeaux, & the beguiling wines of Alsace. It will be a hugely entertaining course and you will also pick up a fascinating array of information and wine tips along the way.
