This week our introductory course EXPLORING THE WORLD OF WINE will be visting Australia and New Zealand to taste some of the world's most popular easy drinking wines.
Australia is home to a huge and growing diversity of wines. Regionality is a word that is increasingly being used to describe Australias best wines.If you haven't tried Rieslings from South Australia then you are in for a treat, deliciously dry zesty sharp white wines that are great with Asian food.
The quintissential Australian grape is Shiraz grown in all manner of climates from the hot Barossa Valley to the cooler climates of Western Australia - if you would like to compare the taste of many different Shiraz wines - look out for our "If You like that try this..." evenings.
New Zealand has shot to fame as a producer zingy refreshing Sauvignon Blanc and is building a reputation for top draw Pinot Noir - come & join us for this special evening & taste why Australian and New Zealand wines are once again being listed on some of the top restaurant wine lists in the UK.
